Gutemberg was born in Port-au-Prince in May 22nd, 1974. He followed drawing courses in anatomy with Jean Menard Derenoncourt, teacher at the Academy of Beaux-Arts, in 1991. Self-taught person in painting, he begin to paint in 1996. He followed drawing courses, in 1999, at the studio "Art Fer Création" with Philippe Dodard.
