Born in Port-au-Prince on March 3, 1941, Casimir completes primary school and secondary scool, up to the upper sixth grade. He started to draw very early andn in 1961, enrolled in the Port-au-Prince School of Arts. He work with the National Service for the Eradicatio of Malaria, then open a hair-dressing salon. At the instigation of Ludivic Booz, he returns to painting in 1974 end specializes to miniature painting.
