Burton was born in 1958 in New-York.He studies in several schools of art in USA. He lives now in Port-au-Prince.He tries to keep a delicate balance between "peinture naive" ( naive painting) and modern art. He is one of the haitian expressionists. Burton was assassinated, at his place, on March 21st, 2012.
