Seymour Etienne Bottex was born in Port-Margot, near Cap-Haitian, on December 24 , 1922. He began to paint in 1955 and joined the "Centre d'Art" in 1961. In 1969, he became a painter at "Issa gallery". He is living since 1980 in New-York. Bottex's works are on exhibit in the US,
England, France, Italy.He died on Monday May 16,2016.
